Sawatdee Krup!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I got safely into Bangkok at 12 PM today. I took a taxicab to the Christian Center, and I just got a chance to explore the Siam Square area a little bit, finishing up with a small noodle and fishball dinner at MBK. (Yes Joanne, I got a bag full of rambutans for just 8 baht) The language barrier definitely bugs me, but I am praying for basically everyone I meet and also praying for the mission team to get here safely. It seems like everyone thinks I am Thai or at least I speak Thai, because everytime I approach someone (like the ladies at the cashier), they start going off in Thai, and I kind of just smile and just point at things interjecting with a krub or a khorb khun here and there. I am really looking forward for everyone to get here. I hope you’re all doing well!

In Christ,
Steven
